The track codes are identical.
except checkpoints, those will not work in FR2.

moyyom wrote:Because the "track codes are identical"
You could put a track with checkpoints into trackmill, they just wont show up because they dont exist over there.
As far as the track goes, it will be identical.

south wrote:No. The only thing you have to do when converting from CR to FR2 is remove the #MTB or #BMX part of the code. However, when converting from FR2 to CR there is no problem as far as I'm aware...

IamRider wrote:that's weird. I remember when i first started on CR i just used it for playing but used the fr2 editor on fr2db for all tracks (including autos) and they worked fine for me when i transferred.
i dunno why it doesn't work for you, maybe because the tm editor has different modifications that the code changes slightly?

LineFielder wrote:Okay guys I've seen this my self and I have worked out why this happens it's because the Canvas Rider editor is on a very tinny grid system where as on Free Rider 2 editor there is no such thing. when you convert from Free Rider 2 to Canvas Rider the lines will find there nearest grid point, but as to putting a Canvas Rider auto to Free Rider 2 it is rear that the auto will brake but if it does reload it on canvas rider just to double check it is working. This griding also effects power ups that could also be a factor as to why Free Rider 2 to Canvas Rider does not work. Although nether of these will effect a ridden track because it is such a little difference that the rider can easily and unknowingly compensate for it and as to an auto as i am sure you all know one line slightly out will brake the auto.
I hope this has helped you with your dilemma
