By the time most people have gotten 1000 posts, they've gained enough forum experience to realize that no one actually cares about their post count. Your post count is not noteworthy and you are not noteworthy, and you should feel bad.

More and more of the new forumers achieve that goal and I in all honesty haven't even noticed it until by now when I started looking around at people's post counts because of this thread. So you care about it till the 1000, and that is all. After that it won't make anymore difference to you, and even less to others. I just got 5k few days ago and didn't even notice it before some weirdo PM'd me for it.

When istinkí gets 10k that might be somewhere around worth a thread.. maybe.
