If you don't have respect of elders, then they will not enter the contest. They don't want to enter a contest that could possibly waist their time. Not saying this contest would fail, but I think that's what Iamrider is getting at.

The reason the contest will fail is because of lack of effort in the contestants, because of who is hosting.

The idea of the contest will be basic, therefore I see the entries being not as efforted (is that a word?) as there other tracks.
