It's an advertisement for makeup, so it's gonna show an exaggerated example of a woman. I'm not saying I don't appreciate the self-esteem boosting efforts from them, because I can understand that girls think that they aren't perfect (and that they need to be). But blowing this out of proportion isn't helping anything either.

Yea, it's just a part of advertisement, and it always will be.

Those kinds of ads are geared towards women, being makeup advertisements. When you see a commercial for makeup, you obviously want to see someone with great skin and a beautiful face. If they weren't, you wouldn't be compelled to buy it.

No offense to any dubstep or pop music fans, but if this is what it took for you to realize that technology is making everything fake...then you need to think outside just the beauty market. Pop music...with it's auto tune and lack of instruments is actually worse than this. At least this is a real girl...pop music is all generated...about 90% of it.
