News:

04/03/09 - All tracks now have checkpoints in them, helping a lot because they are both long tracks.
23/02/09 - New track Mine Rider has been released, feel free to comment.
19/02/09 - Just gave the gallery a make-over, And Announcing my second track "Mine Rider" is very near completion.
21/12/08 - First track has been added, please comment.

1. Street Rider by Pixeltor : PLAY / PREVIEW
Summary:
  • Off and on I have worked on this track for about a month. I am glad with the outcome, I think it is a decent track, being my first that is.
Features:
  • A city landscape with about 20 differents ways to complete the track.
  • Smashing through apartment windows.
  • Soaring over office cubicles.
  • Great scenery.
2. Mine Rider by Pixeltor : PLAY / PREVIEW, On Homepage Slideshow!
Summary:
  • I started drawing this track two days after Street Rider was released so it's been a while in the making. I could have detailed it more, but I like my tracks relatively lag-free. Unlike Street Rider there Is mostly one route to follow except for a few hidden routes here and there. The track has almost all aspects of underground levels in video games (including a DK styled mine cart section). The lumps at the start after the shed are modeled after a strip mine. Enjoy!.
  • With the creation of this track I hereby challenge everyone to complete the track with all stars, without using preview. I made the track easy to reach the end, challenging to retrieve all the stars.
Features:
  • Cave style slopes with stalactites and stalagmites.
  • Dk styled mine cart ride (watch for DK).
  • Epic underground caverns with a huge geyser (enter slowly).
  • Two discoveries, one of an ancient mine, the other is yours to discover! (don't use preview).

coupla points for you:

don't use boosts. please.
don't use grid curves. they look ugly and mess up the track.
grid doesn't really do detail or smoothness.

I agree grid curves look ugly, but how exactly do they mess up the track?
and whats wrong with boosts, they're in the game for a reason arent they?

Grid curves are bugged... they make you go so fast but not always the same speed... so it mess up the track....
boosts... use less of then or none... the track get really better without then... (they are a little messed up... depending on how you go into then you can be trowed with less or more speed... and lots of then in a track is really ugly and boring...)

Nice first track. And I like the way that you did a summary of your track; that's the first I've ever seen anyone do that. You gave me some ideas.

yeah, alright, makes sense, I'll stick to grav shifts if i absolutly have to throw the player at some abnormal speed, thanks for the tips. :)

yeah, I've never seen any other track with hints, and I thought they would be helpful to better predict the track. hope they worked :)

you mean "track" ha, my second track is coming within the next week. It's over twice as big as Street Rider and more detailed, should be good.
