maya indians was spiritual people, they predicted alot of stuff and those are hitted correctly in some times like: they knew the cold season, they knew the wars, ppl going to moon and so on. they knew that kind of stuff but now their "calendar" is going to end at 21.12.2012. does it mean world end, big happening or nothing? what u think?

Or, maybe he didnt want to start the year 2013 since 13 is the number of bad luck. So he ended 10 days before that year would start.
